Getting Involved

How Can I  Become Involved?

MUMC believes that friendship and fellowship with a community of believers is essential to spiritual growth. For that reason, we encourage regular worship, Christian Education, and involvement in church opportunities as schedules allow. The following are some of the examples of life in MUMC that you may want to join:
  • First Sunday Fellowship Covered-Dish Luncheons after Church
  • 4th Wednesday Non-Traditional Services at 6:00 each month
  • Outings for annual picnic or to local and other Texas areas of historical interest
  • Disciple Bible Study Classes, begun in the Fall and lasting about 34-weeks
  • Short-term Disciple Bible Study Classes lasting about 8 weeks
  • Lectionary Bible Study Sunday School Classes for Adults
  • United Methodist Women’s Group
  • Missions Projects (in Manor and throughout the World)
  • Weekly Quilters Group
  • Special Music during Worship Service and/or choir membership
  • Nurturing ministries to shut-ins
  • Weekly Youth Bible Study, youth fellowship and fun
  • Luncheons on 4th Monday to various restaurants in surrounding cities, all invited
Please make a note on this site, contact the church office, or include a note in the Sunday offering plate with a message to the Pastor about any of these that may interest you. You will be contacted.
