Who We Are and What We Do

          Manor UMC youth group’s mission is to engage youth to become passionate followers of Jesus Christ, and to develop a relationship with God and other Christian youth. Our vision is to provide spiritual leadership in an inviting Christian atmosphere where youth can feel safe and comfortable having fun and doing God’s work.

            Our youth directors are Wendy Boatright and Jenny Stremler. Both of them have attended Manor UMC since they were young. Wendy is currently attending Concordia University and majoring in Elementary Education. Jenny is a currently attending the University of Texas and seeking a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a secondary teaching certificate in Science. Our #1 youth sponsor is James Cannon. He is currently a manager for a Wells Fargo bank in Austin. Both the youth directors and sponsor are excited to help youth learn more about God and Jesus Christ in an atmosphere of confidentiality and opened mindedness and lead the group in fellowship and fun activities.
          
 
          We invite all junior high and high school youth to join us on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. for our weekly bible study. Our group time is a time of growing closer to God and each other through study and prayer. The main focus of our group is learning real life application of the scripture and how to practice Christian habits in our everyday lives.   In addition to our weekly bible study, we have monthly fun outings, mission trips, and game nights.  Please feel free to send us an e-mail at:
